Having a diversified workplace goes beyond classifying people into groups or creating the perfect gender ratio. It brings creativity and different perspectives to the table. Within our organization, fostering creativity and offering a different range of perspectives and ideas has been beneficial to our growth. It has given us a unique advantage – which is rare in the commercial real estate (CRE) industry.
Only 9% of women hold a leadership position in the CRE industry – see this Forbes Real Estate Council article . However, within our organization, most of our leadership team is composed of women with diversified backgrounds. We value the expertise and perspectives of our many female brokerage professionals and sales support staff and we are proud to empower other women who are on the leadership path by way of a mentorship program.
