BREWS FOR KANGAROOS

...and bears that love to snooze! Local dive Krick Wuder Saloon & Restaurant is hosting a fundraiser to help save the animals affected by the Australian wildfires. Join them this Saturday night, January 18th, from 9 PM to 2 AM, for live music and good beer. 100% of the proceeds from the $10 cover will be donated to help save the animals!

Bertha Stallworth, shown here inspecting the end of a 40mm artillery cartridge case at Frankford Arsenal in 1941, was one of many women who joined the military efforts during World War II.
